My life was completely disrupted when my wife of 30 years suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. The transition between that event and establishing a new life is not a fast process. One of the first realities facing me was that I occupied a large house that was completely full of women’s clothing and many other things, and decorated with a woman’s touch. I simply had no idea how to proceed and move forward.
Fortunately I met Tracy. Her keen eye and experience was instrumental in efficiently sorting through a houseful of items and helping me to decide what to keep, what to let go of, what would be appropriate to sell, and what should be donated to worthy organizations – decisions that I was comfortable and happy with. Tracy’s organizing skills are terrific, and with her help we are reorganizing the house to be more pleasing to me and easier to keep up, and her design skills are being put to use in changing the décor to make the house comfortable and appropriately mine. She is full of positive energy, has great ideas, and is a real pleasure to work with. Working with Tracy has also helped me a great deal in “coming to terms” with the loss of my wife.
I can honestly say that for the first time in a long time, because of Tracy’s help, I can now see a pathway that will lead me to an appropriately appointed and comfortable house that I can be proud of and that really “fits” as I continue the transition to my new life.
