Decorating

For eight years I’ve called Tracy any time I need a decorating “tune-up”. She has rearranged furniture, picked paint colors, organized rooms, and provided expert advice for a kitchen remodel. Tracy has a wonderful eye for color and detail. I recommend Tracy wholeheartedly!

Death of Spouse

My life was completely disrupted when my wife of 30 years suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. The transition between that event and establishing a new life is not a fast process. One of the first realities facing me was that I occupied a large house that was completely full of women’s clothing and many other things, and decorated with a woman’s touch. I simply had no idea how to proceed and move forward.

Fortunately I met Tracy. Her keen eye and experience was instrumental in efficiently sorting through a houseful of items and helping me to decide what to keep, what to let go of, what would be appropriate to sell, and what should be donated to worthy organizations – decisions that I was comfortable and happy with. Tracy’s organizing skills are terrific, and with her help we are reorganizing the house to be more pleasing to me and easier to keep up, and her design skills are being put to use in changing the décor to make the house comfortable and appropriately mine. She is full of positive energy, has great ideas, and is a real pleasure to work with. Working with Tracy has also helped me a great deal in “coming to terms” with the loss of my wife.

I can honestly say that for the first time in a long time, because of Tracy’s help, I can now see a pathway that will lead me to an appropriately appointed and comfortable house that I can be proud of and that really “fits” as I continue the transition to my new life.

Wardrobe

Getting dressed in the morning is a breeze now that I have a newly organized wardrobe. Tracy has an amazing ability to define a personal style that is customized to her client’s daily life and body type. She sorted through my existing clothes, purged worn or unnecessary items and helped me establish a shopping list to complement my existing wardrobe. As a result of her counsel, I now spend far less money on clothing because I know my wardrobe priorities. She even helped me offset my shopping expenses by consigning some of my more marketable items. The best part is that I never have that feeling that I have ‘nothing to wear’.

Tracy Lindsey, the sole proprietor of Aura, reminds me of a diamond cutter-she can take a rather rough version of you and with her artful vision and unique and varied skills, help you achieve a more lovely you, that includes your environment too; she really is amazing !!

Divorce

Tracy helped me through the difficult transition from larger home to smaller condo following a divorce. As we sorted through years of accumulated stuff, she offered thoughtful advice and great techniques for keeping only those things that matter the most. I ended up with exactly what I need for my new lifestyle and gained a new perspective along the way. She was a delight to work with!

Tracy is an incredibly creative and thorough life planner with a particular knack for making the most out of personal relationships. It was through Tracy’s insightful coaching and guidance that I was able to transition my life from what seemed to be a marriage of entrapment to a new and fulfilling experience. Without Tracy’s guidance, I might not have made the change needed to transform my life from being unfulfilled and taken for granted to regaining my power and feeling alive again. Parts of me are returning which I have not enjoyed for years. I highly recommend anyone in transition to utilize Tracy’s unique combination of skills to set a new course for a brighter future.

Decorating & Dating

Tracy was able to identify my particular style (especially using a lot of the vintage pieces I had collected over the years),and sort out the clutter in my condo, creating a living and working space that matched both my lifestyle and personality.

She then worked with me in my dating life and helped me to identify quality relationships and steer away from the ones that were not worth my time and energy. One thing that really helped me, was in filling out a profile, she was able help me present myself in the best light in order to attract the right kind of guy. Tracy helps people see how to project the best of who they are. I am now happily dating a great guy I found on Match.com and am so appreciative of Tracy’s advice and guidance.

Back to Dating

I was glad to inform Tracy this January that after many ‘first dates’ I amengaged to a wonderful man. We have been dating for two years and will bemarried this coming August. Without Tracy’s support I’m doubtful I wouldhave made it here.

When I met Tracy I was at a pivotal transition point. I was three yearsout of a divorce and in a new job. I could continue to remain ‘stuck’ inthe same patterns or I could re-evaluate, reinvent myself and move forward. With Tracy’s guidance I renovated my wardrobe, my home and mostimportantly my approach to dating. With her encouragement and assistance Ijoined several quality on-line dating services. Through her coaching Iovercame my agoraphobic tendencies and stretched outside my comfort zone topractice her techniques and meet new people. She provided excellentliterary resources from which I learned to set good boundaries, identify’safe’ people, and date quality people. These skills have been useful at
work and with family as well.

Tracy truly has a gift and a very pleasing approach. I recommend her toanyone who is ready to stretch themselves and become a happier person.
